SPECIAL CARE SUITE for FLU OPENS

The Internal Medicine Offices of Paul S. Cohen MD is announcing the opening of our new SPECIAL CARE SUITE located adjacent to our offices, which includes separate waiting and exam room facilities in order to accommodate our potentially infectious patients.

Our office will be screening all patients who call us with flu-like symptoms. When they require an appointment they will be asked to report to our SPECIAL CARE SUITE for their care. All patients with a cough or a fever will be asked to wear protective masks upon entering our facilities for the protection of all concerned.

Dr. Paul S. Cohen stated “This decisive action was prompted in response to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations for optimal infection control procedures. We want to protect all our patients and to prevent the spread of the disease for the community at large as well.”
